There is a timelessness about a black and white portrait…. every bride should have one. These are a few of my favorites…..
Some beauty goodness from a recent shoot (this part at my studio in Manayunk) with photographer Tyler Boye (I call him “Tyler Boyfriend”…. he’s dreamy). The details:
Photography: Tyler Boye
Hair: Amanda D’Andrea
Fantastic hoop earrings: Anthropologie
Lovely rings: Emily Chelsea Jewelry
Floral: Petals Lane
Model: Ava Rudawsky, represented by Reinhard Agency
I'll take it! Thanks to Philadephia Style Magazine for this honorable mention....
I like to say that I "live vicariously through the dogs of others." I have three rescue cats, and a canine companion just isn't in the cards, at least not in the near future. So, behold, Volume II of brides, grooms and their beloved pups.
Props to the wonderful photographers represented here as well...
When it comes to weddings, I adore the classic - dress, venue, styling, and everything that is timeless. Going to Skytop Lodge in the Poconos to help Ashton get ready to wed her Alex was like stepping into forever, as you can see by some of my favorite photos by the illustrious Sarah DiCicco. Hair by Amanda D'Andrea.
What a rewarding summer it has been - Philadelphia Magazine named my make-up lesson the Best Make-up Service in the Best of Philly 2015 issue.
Specifically, for my make-up lesson, wherein I extract the useless, used, and unwanted from your make-up stash, keeping the good products - if there are any - and teaching you how to use them to look fresh and polished every day.
This town has been good to me - thank you, Philadelphia!
Thought these photos of Sarah's wedding to Shaun last September (by Storytellers & Co.) were lovely and wanted to share. It doesn't hurt that Sarah is super photogenic...like a movie star... with great genes from her pretty mom, Elizabeth, wore the swankiest pink dress.
Wedding took place on a perfectly perfect day at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms.
Just before the holidays I did a shoot with Marie Labbancz, Beautiful Blooms, Architeqt Salon and The Wedding Factor, featuring the latter's beautiful Berta gowns. The regal Madison courtesy of Reinhard Agency.
Lots of great images to share, but in celebration of the new season of Downton Abbey (yes, I'm addicted), I wanted to share these first because they so remind me of the beloved series. Can't you just see Mary (or even poor Edith) in this?
